Artist Bio

I try to utilize what is available to me without purchasing supplies. The more I buy, the more I waste, the more will end up in a landfill. Sometimes I have paint and canvas but more often I re-purpose found objects from parking lots, junk yards, and donated 'trash'. Recently I made Raven On Nasdaq out of newspaper and eye makeup... when the urge to create hits, you use what you've got! By taking 'things' seemingly useless and re-purposing them I find my green soul a little less scarred. You will find portraits of myself in every piece. Whether my art becomes gaudy, humorous, or dark and disturbing I seem to be subconsciously recreating myself. Love, politics, nature, and my hamster-in-a-wheel search for spirituality seem to be my common themes.
